# Connect wallet and get started

Delpho runs on Hyperliquid (HyperEVM and HyperCore). To use the dapp you need a wallet that supports HyperEVM.

## Network setup

Add the HyperEVM network to your wallet if it is not present:

* Network name: HyperEVM
* RPC URL: see [Hyperliquid docs](https://hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs/for-developers/hyperevm)
* Chain ID: see [Hyperliquid docs](https://hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs/for-developers/hyperevm)
* Currency symbol: HYPE

## Compatible wallets

Any wallet that supports adding custom EVM networks works. Commonly tested: MetaMask and Rabby. Hardware wallets (Ledger, Trezor) can be used through any of these.

## First-time tour

After connecting:

1. The dapp shows your wallet balances for supported collateral assets.
2. Choose a collateral type to deposit (HYPE, kHYPE, USDC, USDT).
3. Approve the collateral token. You can approve the exact amount per transaction, or grant a one-time approval per asset for convenience.
4. Deposit and mint USDV in a single flow.
